Our team of 20 left in different groups carpooling or individually, and many of us met up at the LAX area Hacienda Hotel where we spent the night, parked the cars, and used their shuttles the mile to the airport. Some in the group stayed with relatives or friends and will meet us at the morning at the airport. After dinner at the Sizzler, Butch and Peggy were telephoned by their dog sitter that the 11 year old special family pet was very sick and bleeding. Butch couldn’t reconcile leaving their sick, possibly unto death, beloved pet with a friend and trying to enjoy this trip.
